Bangladesh liberated as a sovereign country through its War of Liberation in 1971 against Pakistani occupation forces in its land. In the end,  Bangladesh won her final victory on 16 December 1971.

Dhaka (Area 414 sq. km. Master plan 777 sq.km.)

Currency unit is Taka. Notes are of 1,2,5,10,20,50,100 and 500 Taka. Coins are of 1,5,10,25,50 and 100 Poisha (100 Poisha = 1 Taka) 
 
Language
Bangla is the state language. English is also widely case of official, academic and communication purpose.
